The Mangili Customary Landholding Group of Ward 14, East Fataleka, Malaita Province has achieved yet another milestone in the recording process of Mangili Customary Land with the public posting of Notice of Completion for the Mangili Customary recording process.
This comes after months of consultation and awareness with the Mangili Tribe and other neighboring tribe commenced in 2021.
Copies of the Notice of Completion were posted by the Recording Officer within and around Mangili Customary Land areas as mandatory required under section 14 of CLRA.
The purpose of this notice is to further calls for “any landholding group or person who believes their claims or interest have not been adequately considered by the recording may make written representation to the National Recorder to have their claims reconsidered”.
The Notices were posted at the following venues.
1) Lololo Village
2) GagaluVillage
3) FatimaVillage
4) ArmeniaVillage
5) Malaita HQ office, Auki
After the expiry of 30 days, the Mangili Landholding group will complete final formalities and receive Certificate of Completion.
